Happy Wednesday everyone! I thought I’d share some iPhone pictures from my travels and daily life over the past couple months
On Saturday, I had the honor of being a second photographer for my dear friend Sarah of Fresh Frame Photography for Cassie and Rob’s wedding. I will just share a few frames – these stood out in my mind because Cassie took such care in choosing her wedding flowers; she had so many beautiful white orchids! The wedding was just amazing from start to finish, and I am so thankful that Sarah asked me to come along for their big day.

The wedding was in Muskego, but the couple chose the Boerner Botanical Gardens for their photos between the ceremony and reception. They couldn’t have picked a more beautiful location, I totally agree!
Last weekend, I was able to meet Tammy and Jesse for their engagement session and we had so much fun despite my croaky, I’m-still-getting-over-a-cold voice. Thank you two SO much for being comfortable and loving each other in front of my camera. You are one of the biggest reasons I absolutely cherish what I do.

So I have these two photographer friends that I met back in March at the Jasmine Star workshop, and we met last week to take photos of each other. Check out how beautiful they are!
Every couple of weeks we meet and talk about life, family, goals for our businesses, etc over a glass of wine or beer {Bud Light, in Jen’s case
} . Most importantly, we support each other. Being in this business is not easy – it weighs on our personal lives; it takes up time on weekends when many other people get to spend time with family, friends, and hobbies; it adds stress…you get the picture. Anyways, one of the most important things you can have is a support system, and these two ladies are the definition of support. Kinda makes me think of that cliche quote about friends being like bras, haha, but we won’t go there.
Jen, Chrissy – you are both gorgeous inside and out, and your husbands are lucky to have you!! I am so happy to say that we’re friends, and I can’t wait to see where we are a few years down the road.
I think Chrissy MUST have been a model at some point in her life. I mean come on, look at that!
Yes, that is Jen’s naturally, amazing curly hair! (Cue the jealousy!)

You are so sweet! Laurie, thank you for taking my picture. You did an amazing job. It was serendipitous that we met and became instant friends. I feel so lucky to have met you and Jen! Your talent is so inspiring. You are just amazing!
