The Holidays

I just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Thank you for your support, kind words, business, and for following me this past year! I can’t say enough how much it means to me, and I hope you get to enjoy the holidays with your family, friends, and loved ones. Holiday memories are probably some of my favorite pasttimes, and they make me think how blessed I am with family and friends.

This time of year also reminds me of an unforgettable winter engagement I did last year, so I just had to share a few shots.

Much love and safe travels!

Snowflakes and Frozen Imprints

We had our first real dusting of snow this past weekend, and it might be as close as we get to a white Christmas in Milwaukee. It was beautiful while it lasted :)

Starting to feel like Winter

This weekend, I saw a few of the first signs of winter, despite the unseasonably warm temperature we have had lately. It was a nice feeling, and it gives me hope for a white Christmas!

№ 1:   Frost. On the grass, on the windows, and every surface you can find before it’s melted by the mid-morning sun.

№ 2:   Snowmen decorations. My parents have the most adorable winter decorations at their home every year.

№ 3:   Fire lit in the fireplace. One of my favorite sounds is that of crackling firewood as it burns and warms the room.

Ashley + Brian {Milwaukee Engagement}

Parents have a knack of being right, whether or not we like to admit it. It’s as if it’s part of their nature. It just so happens that Ashley and Brian’s moms work together, and they decided to fix them up on a date. Brian’s mom gave him Ashley’s phone number and insisted that he call her. I’m not sure if Brian had any doubts before he picked up the phone, but after they had their first date he was certain that there was something special about Ashley. See? Mom really does know best :)

Congratulations to you, Ashley and Brian, and I could not be more excited for your wedding next fall! What a wonderful pair these two make, and here are some photos from their mini session with me at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
